Design Notes
This parts associates the strong constitutive promoter Ptac (as found in the plasmid pKK233-2, Clontech), a strong RBS desgined by team Paris Bettencourt 2009, a nickel and cobalt transporter originating from the locus Saro_0344 of Novosphingobium aromaticivorans DSM 12444 which was codon-optimised for expression in E. coli and the bidirectional terminator B0014 , to avoid cross-talk between this part and K540000 in the composite part K1404001
Source
The promoter and the rest of this part were synthesized separately and then assembled by standard assembly.
